The Bug's Book Worms
Members of the Bug Club travel free!
This February half-term break, be the first to see The Bug displayed in all her glory, just out of hibernation after a long winter keeping snug as a bug! Tuesday 13th February, Wednesday 14th February, and Thursday 15th February, we will be rolling The Bug out of the engine shed where you’ll be able to see her on display outside the Heritage Centre at New Romney Station.
Feast your senses on the sights and sounds of the Railway - See the engines steaming along and hear the train whistles blow as they call you to climb aboard.
- Dress up as as your favourite book character as we celebrate The Bug’s Book Worms, and join in The Bug’s Book Worms varied indoor and outdoor crafts and activities.
Locomotive number 4 The Bug invites all of the Railway’s junior fans (under 11 years) to join The Bug Club. For just £16 per year, the smallest of the Railway’s steam engines brings big membership benefits:
A reduced fare travel rate on all non-special event days.
Free travel on the 13th, 14th and 15th February.
A seasonal newsletter full of the latest Railway news including puzzles and colouring fun.
