Railway 200 - Steam & Diesel Gala
OUR MAY STEAM AND DIESEL GALA WILL BE TAKING PLACE ON SATURDAY 10th & SUNDAY 11th MAY 2025
For this event, all available RH&DR steam and diesel locomotives will be in service. Also joining the Romney fleet are Katie and Badger from the ‘Whistlestop Valley’.
Highlights include:
• Badger and Katie running around the railway throughout the weekend
•100 miles for 100 years with Green Goddess (Saturday)
• Double and triple headers
• 28-mile solo non-stop Hythe – Hythe (Saturday)
• Mini Beer Festival at New Romney station
• End of the weekend finale with all available steam New Romney – New Romney Via Dungeness
Weekend tickets are available online. Our weekend tickets are not available to purchase from our stations.
Keep an eye out on our website nearer the Gala for our ‘Public’ timetable. A ‘Enthusiasts’ timetable will be released online a few days before the gala and provides detailed locomotives and coach set workings.
